This 7DTD mod adds again the old Alpha 17 cultivation system that was removed in the Alpha 18 introducing its Farm Plots, also enables the hoe, its recipe and its schema to unlock it, farm plots and fertile farmland work without any problem, you decide how to grow.

The new A20 Living off the Land system is maintained.

Return the fertilized terrain from previous alphas, there are two types of terrain:

terrFertile: you don’t need fertilizer, you can plant the seeds, but it will give you less product (depends on the crop).
terrFertilized: you need to use fertilizer, but it will give you 1,2 or 3 more products (Depends on the crop).

To have fertilized ground, you need to improve the terrFertile with the Hoe and have fertilizer.

  • Return resourceTurd and resourceFertilizer.
  • The recipe to make fertilizer is added and the necessary ingredients are respected as it was in previous alphas.
  • You can also make fertilizer with RottingFlesh.
  • You can buy the fertilizer at the trader or find it in the trash.
  • You find the turd in the toilet or in the garbage.

All Crops Player are added to be collected by pressing “E”. The only loss you will have when collecting Crops Player with “E”, is that you will not get the seed, but you will have a little more product and without spending points in LivingOfTheLand.

Changed the name to Iron Hoe T2 and the schematic to Iron Hoe T2 Schematic in Localization. Removed red color from Iron Hoe.

  1. Just out of curiosity, were you able to find a code around getting the “multiples of the same block generated. Overriding with most recent!” red script? I’m trying to put a modpack together, and I’m trying to make it clean af, but I can’t seem to find a way to comment out the actual block generation and only set the upgrade property. Any help would be appreciated, I’m at wits end here lol.

  2. Nevermind. I got it down to a very small amount of code and it works perfectly with A19 with no hickups in the command console. Let me know if you’d like the code I used. Thanks for the great mod again!

    1. I’m glad you liked the mod.
      It is not necessary, the version for A19 stable works well because the code changed it since the A19 Exp, the other version for A18 was intended to overwrite the lands to give it a different touch, it still did not give you a console error or yes.

      1. Not anymore, but that was after I wrote in an updated few lines that made the terrain blocks plowable. I got it all summed up in mine. Prior to that it was double spawning the terrain blocks (ie. red error code), once from the og code and then another from yours. (it was some A18 patchworking I had to do, but I got it all sorted out)

      The mod works for A20.4 and A20.5, the mod link is for both A19 and A20, check at the end of the post.
      Or do you have some kind of error?

      The mod works correctly with A20.5 (Make sure you have the version for A20), I have tested it and I don’t get any errors, make sure you don’t have another farming mod installed, maybe that could be the problem.
