Welcome to GNS Armor Pack!
GNS Armor Pack is the fourth armor pack in a much bigger project that Mumpfy and me are making together. You can expect more different armor packs, in different styles.
It includes the 3 sets of armor that we made for GNS (Temreki) and he uses in his videos. There is one set of light armor, one set of medium and one set of heavy armor, all of them male/unisex. It includes high quality models and textures, but optimized for best game performance.
All the armors include custom bonuses, trying to make them more fun, interesting and worth using, covering different styles and preferences, but also trying to keep them balanced and not overpowered.
All our armor packs present and future can be used together without any worries, and they all can be used together with all my other mods.
Full compatible with cosmetic system (requires LittleRedSonja CAS mod for that).
Compatible with both v 1.0 – 1.4 and v 2.0 and all later versions of the game. Built – in support for Escape from Tarkov and Rebirth overhauls, and compatible with the majority of other mods and overhauls.
IMPORTANT NOTE: FOR THIS MOD TO BE FULLY FUNCTIONAL WITH REBIRTH YOU MUST RENAME THE MOD FOLDER TO LOAD AFTER REBIRTH_CORE MOD. This because Rebirth_ Core mod deletes everything in the armor crafting skill so if this mod loads first the edits would just be deleted by Rebirth.
Since version 2.2.0 of the mod there are now 2 versions you can choose from. Both versions requires LittleRedSonja CAS mod for the cosmetic feature:
1- Normal version: It includes everything. It adds new functional armor sets to the game AND can also be used as cosmetics. This is the original version of the mod. This is the version for you if you want both things, functional new armor sets AND the cosmetics. It works in both V1 and V2 of the game.
2- Cosmetic Only Version: It ONLY includes the cosmetics. It DOES NOT add real functional usable armor to the game, only the cosmetic part. It is only for V2 or later of the game. This is the version for you if:
- You only want the cosmetics, but do not want to add new armor to the game, only look cool.
- You are using a big overhaul that happens to be incompatible with the original version.
The Cosmetic Only Version is designed to be compatible with absolutely EVERY OTHER MOD OR OVERHAUL for 7 days to die, at the price of being only cosmetic. So if for some reason your other mods or overhauls are not compatible or supported you can always switch to this version.
I recommend trying the normal version first, and switch to the cosmetic only version if your other mods are not compatible for some reason or if you really do not want to add new armors to the game.
Think of the Cosmetic Only Version as a “DLC-Like”, “simplified” but more compatible version of the mod that I have made so that everybody can enjoy the cosmetic part of the mod, no matter what overhaul or other mods you are using.
Choose only one of them, DO NOT use both at the same time.

FULL INTEGRATION WITH THE COSMETIC/WARDROBE SYSTEM REQUIRES “LittleRedSonja CAS” MOD
Frequently asked questions:
1- Is your mod compatible with X, Y or Z mod? : Yes, this mod should be compatible with the vast majority of other mods. Mods that indiscriminately delete big parts of vanilla game xml, specially in items.xml or recipes.xml might cause problems. In that case rename my mod folder to make it load after the offending mods, so the edits made by the mod remain unchanged. That should solve most incompatibility problems. The cosmetic feature should be compatible with absolutely every other mod and overhaul for 7DTD unless it deletes the armors. In that case, rename out mod like I explain and it should work fine.
2- Can the mod be used server side only?: No. Since it includes custom assets, the mod needs to be installed in both the server and players computer for multiplayer game. if you play solo instead of multiplayer then you install the mod as usual.
3- Does the mod require EAC to be turned OFF? No, this mod can be use with both EAC ON and OFF, it does not matter.
4- Will you add X, Y or Z to the mod?: We are always open to suggestions or requests 🥰.
