Better Quest Reward v1

7 days to die better quest reward

The mod is part of the PROJECT Z modpack. You can find all the information with a description of the project mods on the Discord server.

A little background. After the release of the stable version 1.0, the developers made, in BlackRabbitMsk’s opinion, a sufficiently correct nerf to the rewards for quests. However, in his opinion, they forgot to balance it. As a result, the player “tears his pants” and nerves on the tier 6 quest and, running for the reward, receives a book or magazine. A BOOK ***! He did not quite like this approach and decided to balance the rewards himself. Let him clarify right away, he still agree that the reward itself needs to be nerfed – but do it within reasonable limits. And here is what he got:

  • The list of rewards for completing tier 3 and higher quests has been changed. He did not touch tier 1 and 2 quests, since he think they are quite acceptable.
  • Added food sets T3,4,5,6 – the higher the tier the better
  • Added sets with a part of transport T3,4,5,6 – the higher the better
  • Added sets with magazines T3,4,5,6 – the higher the more
  • Added book sets 3,4,5,6 to the reward – vanilla sets are used
  • Removed all ammunition from 3+ rewards (then why do we need the final loot)
  • Added balanced resource groups: crafting, construction, medicine, food, etc. The higher the tier, the more resources.

In his opinion, he still managed to keep the original nerf, but the rewards themselves have become more pleasant and useful.

Enjoy the game everyone!

I’ve run into an issue, when I go to redeem a quest high enough to trigger this mod, I get an error and the rewards screen is empty.
