Description
New Update 1.0.5.
UBBI V2 is an update, rework, fix and expansion of the original Hernan‘s Unnecessary But Beautiful mod and its continuation, Unnecessarily Beautiful But Immersive by ZTensity. All the credit for the original work goes to them.
UBBI V2 updates UBBI to v1, v2 and later versions of the game, fixes bugs, sounds, optimizes textures and file size, expands some features such as storage options, reorganizes cooking recipes and some variant helper blocks, and many more fixes and improvements to modernize and make UBBI functional again.
My intention is to keep the mod updated and current, and to keep expanding in terms of content and features.
Thank you very much to ZTensity for giving me permission to continue his work with UBBI.
This mod is compatible with 7DTD v1 and v2 and later versions of the game.

Some of the content included:
Functional Kitchen Appliances: You can cook various foods and beverages at the Microwaves, Oven, Stove, Stovetop, Coffee Maker and Toaster. These appliances still require wood alongside sometimes a grill and a cooking pot, and fuel, but you will save some ingredients compared with cooking on a campfire.
Lights, Electronics & Powered Doors.
Working shower, decorative Ferris Wheel, pinball machine, arcade terminals and a handheld gaming device to vines, a bush, a poster, trash can, vent, newspaper, ladder, toilet and more.
You can craft new beds, a garden bed, small bed and big bed as a bedroll.
You can build a working Chimney that once placed will emit realistic smoke periodically, and a cozy modern fireplace.
Big lockable storage in many different shapes and colors, and easy to integrate in the decoration of your base.
In total more than 250 new objects for your game. All items from UBBI can be crafted at a workbench. Lights and powered doors are locked behind level 1 and 2 of Electrician crafting skill. All the items can be repaired by using specific sources from cloth fragments, wood and glass blocks to forged iron, concrete mix and leather.

Built-in compatibility with:
– “LittleRedSonja Plumbed In Water Solutions“: If you have the mod installed all the sinks in the mod will provide water in the same way they do in “Plumbed In Water Solutions”
– “LittleRedSonja Grab Your Stuff“: If you have the mod installed you will be able to easily recover your storage and workstations, even outside of claim areas, in the same way you do in “Grab Your Stuff”
– “SMX”
I also tested the mod with CATUI and SteelUI without issues, but let me know if you find any problems with those or other UI mods and I will try to add or improve compatibility.
Big thank you to all the nice and awesome people in Guppy Modding Discord and specially ZTensity, for giving me permission to continue the work in UBBI, and Mumpfy, for all the patience and help and always being nice 💜.

HOW DO ELECTRONICS AND LIGHT WORK?: Both light and electronics require 0 power to run. To make them functional you only need to use a wire tool on them, like you would do when connecting them to a power source. No power source is required, only use the wire tool on the electronic blocks or the light blocks. Then you can turn them on and off whenever you want.
HOW DOES THE SHOWER WORK?: The shower is functional only inside a land claim area. You need the land claim block to be placed BEFORE you place the shower. The shower is part of the “Electronics” group, and you need to “activate” it with the wiretool, like you do with lights and other electronics, to make it functional. You only need to do this to make it functional, after that you do not need the tool to use the shower or any other electronic. The “activation” or “connection” point is on the low part of the shower (look at included picture). After that, you can turn it on to see the nice water particles and sound, and turn it off. To get the bonus you just walk into the shower, turn it on, and after 1-2 seconds you will see the bonus. Then you walk out of the shower and the bonus will be active for 30 real time minutes.
While you are “in the shower” the bonus is not active, it will show 0% in the bonus stats, it will activate when you walk away and show the actual stats.

Frequently asked questions:
1- Is your mod compatible with X, Y or Z mod? : Yes, this mod should be compatible with the vast majority of other mods. Mods that indiscriminately delete big parts of vanilla game xml, specially in items.xml or recipes.xml might cause problems. In that case rename our mod folder to make it load after the offending mods, so the edits made by the mod remain unchanged. That should solve most incompatibility problems.
2- Can the mod be used server side only?: No. Since it includes custom assets, the mod needs to be installed in both the server and players computer for multiplayer game. If you play solo instead of multiplayer then you install the mod as usual.
3- Does the mod require EAC to be turned OFF? No, this mod can be use with both EAC ON or OFF, it does not matter.
4- Will you add X, Y or Z to the mod?: Yes, my intention is to keep updating UBBI V2, and I am always open to suggestions or requests 🥰.

You do not need to connect them to a power source, only use the wiretool on them.

– Hides some of the individual blocks still visible in the object lists.

Hey! Thank you so much for updating and keeping this mod going! It is absolutely one of my all time favorites!
Thank you! I hope you will have fun with it! 🥰
So do I just delete the old file and extract the new file?
Hi!
If you mean to update the mod to a newer version, yes. Delete the folder containing the old version and install the new one.
Hey LRS, thanks for the amazing mods you’ve made so far!
I have a question: Do you plan to make your own AIO overhaul mod in the future with the amount of mods you have or combine your own with other mods for an overhaul?
Hi!
Yeah, maybe, I have thought about something like that, so maybe eventually I will do something in that style 🥰.
Hi!
Yes, for multiplayer, it would be really handy to be able to have all mods as “server side only”. That would make things simpler for players.
Unfortunately there are things that are impossible to make as server side.
One example are mods that add custom assets, like this one. But even smaller things such as custom icons. Any asset or image not already existing in the game assets requires client + server. There is no workaround for that.
Another example is most mods including c# (generally DLL files).
So while having mods as server side would be handy, it is literally impossible at this state of the game. Maybe in the future.
I hope you can still enjoy it in single player, and also in multiplayer (installing mods for 7DTD is actually very easy compared with other games).
Hello, first of all, congratulations on the mod; it looks amazing! My wife and I have been playing several of your mods and are very grateful for all your hard work in developing them and making them available to the community.
I also want to inform you that the download link is down.
All fixed thanks for the flag!
Oh thank you, you are super kind!
I hope you both will have fun with this one too! 💜
