UI SFX Replacement

7 days to die ui sfx replacement

Description

This is a small, simple mod that replaces some (57) of the more repetitious, arguably annoying sounds (hovering, clicks, opening the backpack etc)

Personally, I find these replacements “game changing”, as they are significantly less grating to hear over and over.

Install by placing the folder in “Mods”.

Configurable via the sound_config.txt file in the folder.

0 = Original Sound
1 = New Sound
2 = Silent

Volume is adjustable, but can be funky about whether to apply (will fix).

Will be updated with more sounds. Next up:

Crafting / Building
Zombies / Combat / Gore

Should be universally compatible with other mods (other than those trying to do the same thing, obviously…)

First of all I want to say that this mod is really great, but unfortunately there are frame drops and conflicts with “custom avatars”. I hope this problem can be solved.

its a shame this is pretty nice sound pack. but after awhile using it while playing online with my buddy, we get frame drops after a bit of gameplay. took a while to find out which mod did it cus we added a few along with this 1, and this turned out to be the culprit. if you can figure out why it causes frame drops and fix it, id love to use this again.
