Description
Adds a variety of aircrafts for 7 days to die with now improved sounds and some new models and icons. Mod is for 2.4 and newer but it likely works still in 1.0+ but it is not confirmed. Planes do require some runway to take off and landing and they have fast speed. Assets for custom models are from Unity Asset Store (more info in the asset credits file). Happy flights!
Let me know if any issues occur but mods should work well without errors.
Mod is also still kind of work in progress so changes and other updates may occur but this is still very playable. For example base models need some tweaking so all planes for now use buff attributes to apply models but it may be changed in the future.
Map/world used for testing planes is AH64Jimbo’s airport map and that map is awesome for flying with planes.
Aircrafts now support additional view modes with the vehicle FPV camera mod (developed by other author, not me but the location markings are mentioned in the info file and can be added manually to make them work).
Few planes support 1st person view with the 3rd party mod thanks to their working interior model but most planes use passenger view for additional view choices if you have the fpv camera mod.

– TFP Vanilla plane is no longer serverside supported in this mod due to changes in sounds and by addition of icons but if you want to keep the serverside plane, keep the previous mod file since the serverside file is no longer available here but the new vanilla plane could work in serverside but icons and sounds wouldn’t work then so be cautious with that.
This new version is a massive improvement from the previous aircraft mod and the name has been changed now to “Aircrafts”. Base models do need some tweaking still but otherwise the mod is very playable but the mod may get updates in the future.

my no.1 question is can this be used in multiplayer? Having your teammate walking inside the plane in a first person view while you drive the plane?
Yes this works in multiplayer as long all clients have this mod installed so it is not serverside only. Same goes with the first person view feature.
