The Struggle Is Wheel: Vehicles Aren’t Easy in the Apocalypse!

Another server-side mod with a stupid name designed only to make your life more tedious and annoying!

Do you feel like the ease of assembling higher-end vehicles in 7D is a bit too trivial? Parts are one-size-fits-all, easily-acquired, or that you graduate from riding a bicycle to making homemade rotary-wing aircraft in just a couple weeks at most? Do you dislike that there’s very little incentive to use the additional seat mod in multiplayer when it’s often simpler to just build more vehicles?

Well this probably won’t change that all that much, but it’ll slow you down a bit and possible force you to make some (slightly) tougher choices. Motorcycles, the 4×4, and the Gyro are all more costly in this model, demanding more steel, parts, and most importantly more engines to try and make engine ‘parts’ more of a bottleneck. Motorcycles now require three small engines, gyros require four, and the mighty 4×4 now requires a hefty five engines.

Due to increased resource cost, these three endgame vehicles have also had their value in dukes increased by roughly 50%. Now there’s something else to spend your vast endgame riches on other than solar panels!

In the future FramFramson may add a non-server side version using custom icons which would actually allow the looted small engine to be scrapped for “engine parts”, and for the motorcycle, 4×4, and gyro to actually require you to use those parts to build to specific engines roughly equivalent in cost to this version of the mod.
