(TMO) Drone Finder x ServerSide

Description

This Mod was designed to stop drones from disappearing, glitching into terrain, or becoming stranded across the map. With simple chat commands, players can instantly locate, or teleport their stuck drone without admin intervention.

This Mod Requires:

•  TMO-CORE
•  Server-side only (clients do not need to install anything)
•  EAC ON or OFF ( Servers, your choice) (Local Host require EAC OFF)

What This Mod Fixes:

•  Drones drifting thousands of meters away
•  Drones falling underground / inside blocks
•  Drones stuck in unloaded chunks
•  Drones refusing to return when “stuck”
•  Players losing storage because their drone vanished
•  Admins constantly replacing broken drones

 This Drone Finder ensures drones always remain recoverable.

What are the Player Commands? 

/dl – Drone Locator Command
Instantly scans all of your owned entities and returns the exact coordinates of your drone in chat.
Use this when your drone is stuck underground, floating in the sky, or simply vanished.

Perfect for recovery without teleporting.

/dtp – Drone Teleport Command
Teleports your drone directly behind you, using the same safe placement logic as the game’s follow system.

If it’s stuck, bugged, or refuses to return, this command forces it back to you instantly. No questions asked.

Why Servers Will Benefit to Use This Mod

• Prevents frustrated players losing an expensive drone because they are a PITA to deal with.
• Removes admin workload from drone issues, Admin lives matter too.
• Provides reliable recovery tools the vanilla game lacks, like come on – this is real!
• Helps stabilize modded servers where entity desync is more common – Stability is key to a Solid Player Base.

Important Information

• If you add this after starting a game, with the drone already placed – pick the drone up and place it back down. This will prevent any weird messages back claiming it isnt found (which would be rare occasion, I just air on the Side of Caution!)
• EAC Friendly ServerSide. If hosting locally, it requires EAC off.
