Description
Fully working with game version V2.+
Sleep adds a clean, lore-friendly rest system to 7 Days to Die.
Hold E on any bedroll to open the radial, select “Sleep (8 hrs)”, and you’ll get a short cinematic blackout; time advances 8 in-game hours and you wake up refreshed with a temporary stamina boost.
How it works:
Trigger: Aim at your bedroll and hold E → choose Sleep (8 hrs).
Cinematic: ~3.3s fade-to-black (“Sleeping…”) to simulate nodding off.
Time skip: World time jumps forward by 8 hours.
Buff: You receive Well Rested for 30 real-time minutes (faster stamina regen, reduced stamina drain, and a small max-stamina bonus).
Conditions & Limits
Sleep window: Only between 20:00 and 02:00 (in-game).
Blood Moon: Disabled on horde nights (you’ll get a warning).
Where: Bedrolls only (player-placed sleeping bag or bedroll variants).
Quality-of-life
Clear radial label (Sleep (8 hrs)) with a bed icon.
On-screen warnings are localized (keys provided).
No changes to loot, POIs, or progression; safe to add mid-save.
Multiplayer & Compatibility
Designed for single-player (not tested on multiplayer / server).
UI-light and generally compatible; conflicts are unlikely unless another mod edits bedroll activation or the radial for bedrolls.
Enjoy a simple, balanced way to pass dangerous nights and hit dawn well rested without breaking the survival loop.

Does this mod work with player-placed beds, or just bedrolls?
Currently only bedrolls.
Does this mod have a negative affect on food & water during the 8 hours of sleep? If not could you add it?
this is so cool! all we need is a mod that lets us use furniture, like sitting on chairs etc 🙂
Thank you!
