Welcome to Soul Daze X

A hardcore serverside modpack for V2.2. Fight your way through hordes to go from fledgling survivor to god-slaying menace. This pack overhauls the entire game from armor, to weapon sourcing, and much more. Embark at your own risk, as death grasps at you around every corner.

Instructions:

  1. Download the latest version from the google drive link.
  2. Place the archive in your game’s “Mods” folder.
  3. Extract the files to the “Mods” folder. (There should be 27 files and 1 TXT document.)
  4. Create a new game, and copy the “Required Settings” to ensure balanced gameplay.
  5. Enjoy.

Features

Enchantments:
• Completely overhauls the armor system to give much lower armor values.
• Removed the per-item armor bonuses to mimic Minecraft modpack armor bonus systems.
• Adds 72 total item mods that provide the core progression system of the game.

Enemies:
• Features the Biome Baddies mod that adds scores of new enemies and bosses.
• Each biome has unique enemies that you must prepare to kill.
• 5 endgame bosses that provide a final challenge for fully geared players.

Baubles:
• Adds 16 unique armor mods that grant immunity to various debuffs and status effects.
• Ankh Shield inspired crafting tree to combine all the effects into one item.

Survival Aspects:
• PureFyre’s Weather Returns mod brings back player temperature and wetness management.
• Armor and mods can be used to brave the elements.

Core Gameplay Balances:
• Removes weapons and armor from trader inventories so you’ll have to explore and craft your way to godhood.
• Lootbag drop rates increased/refined to enhance zombie slaying progression.
• Bullets fly further and behave more realistically.
• Improved armor bonuses.
• Charismatic Nature doesn’t require playing on a team.
• Level cap raised to 750 and added many more skills to unlock.
• Reworked/increased mod slots.

QOL:
• Tons of QOL mods enhance the core gameplay.
• Larger backpacks/storage crates reduce the need for tedious inventory and item management.
• Lootbags stick around much longer.
• Reworked item stacks to further minimize inventory management.
• Vehicle performance reworked to make traveling more enjoyable.

UI Overhaul:
• Greatly improved iron sights.
• Removed crosshair on aim-down-sights to maximize immersion.
• AGF’s HUD overhaul brings the game to life.
• Added health bars.

These are the only warnings that i got. But ingame everything seems fine so far. I am running it on a dedicated server, If that helps at all. I like the new zombies. and the fact that their tied to their biomes. The rest of the game I’ll have to figure out as i go. But thank you for the overhaul mod.

Inventory capacity remained the same as vanilla

There should be a difference, if the mod is loading correctly:
