GrayedSilence’s Christmas Cookbook

GrayedSilence's Christmas Cookbook mod

Description

A Feast for the Apocalypse (Rule #32: Enjoy the Little Things) Congratulations, survivor! You made it through another year of Navezgane’s delightful hospitality. What better way to celebrate not becoming a feral zombie’s chew toy than with a festive meal? Tired of the 7 Days to Die diet of canned beans and old sham-sandwiches? Inject some much-needed, post-apocalyptic holiday cheer into your life. We’re talking real food, not just roadkill on a stick! We’ve got everything from the potentially lethal Deviled Eggs to a Rack of Lamb that smells suspiciously like the Trader’s new cleaning supplies. Seriously, the Christmas Cookies are to die for.

What’s Cooking (and hopefully not rotting):

  • 20 Brand-New Holiday Recipes: From savory meals that keep the flu away to sweet treats that briefly let you forget the screamers.
  • Vanilla Ingredients Only: Don’t worry, these recipes only use ingredients you can find, scavenge, or barely-manage-to-grow in the wasteland. No complicated, hard-to-mod elements here—just good, clean, slightly-radioactive fun.
  • The Cookbook: Recipes are learned from the GrayedSilence’s Christmas Cookbook, a rare, blood-spattered find that probably belonged to a very optimistic pre-Feral chef.

Grab your cleaver, warm up the Campfire, and have a Merry Z-mas!

Server Note: The Icons are Festive (and Custom). This mod is designed to be a server- and client-side mod so you can see the gorgeous, hand-crafted icons for your dishes! If you run it server-only, the recipes work, but the icons will be missing. Don’t deprive your survivors of the sheer joy of seeing a pixelated, perfectly-rendered fruitcake!

What’s on the Menu?

The Food:

  • Blueberry Pound Cake
  • Candy Cane
  • Christmas Sauce
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Slice of Better Blueberry Pie
  • Stuffing
  • Turkey Club Sandwich
  • Turkey Dinner
  • Blueberry Cheesecake
  • Christmas Cake
  • Christmas Cookies
  • Dinner Rolls
  • Mixed Vegetables
  • Deviled Eggs
  • Rack of Lamb

The Drinks:

  • Hot Chocolate: Who needs coffee? This gives a sweet XP boost for 4 minutes—perfect for those late-night grinding sessions or last-minute base repairs.
  • Peppermint Tea: Offers cold resist. Because even the apocalypse gives you the shivers.
  • Champagne: Offers a staggering 500% boost to brawler damage. Nothing says “holiday cheer” like punching a screamer through a wall!

Now go make some festive mayhem, survivor! Just try not to mistake a feral zombie for a Thanksgiving turkey. It happens. Remember: The best way to burn off those Christmas Cookie calories is by outrunning the Blood Moon horde! If you get food poisoning, well, at least it’s better than getting brain poisoning. Probably.
