Echoes from the Afterlife (for v1.4)

Main menu screen for the mod "Echoes of the Afterlife", the official continuation of the Afterlife mod for the game 7 Days to Die. The menu depicts a black and white image of a moonlit forest with the word Afterlife in ghostly letters along the bottom.

Description

Echoes from the Afterlife is the official continuation of Redbeards Afterlife and a full overhaul for 7 Days to Die that slows everything down and puts survival first.
No traders, no quest hand-holding, no rushing to end-game loot. Your character grows through action skills, not XP bars, so progression is slow but continuous and always earned.

Key features:

  • Survival focus – Vitality system, permanent infections, and lots of zombies (provided by Walkersim).
  • New progression – New ores, extra weapon tiers, and the Izayo weapon pack integrated into the loot and crafting balance.
  • Action Skills – Get better by doing things.
  • Starter classes – Begin with a role and toolkit that shape how you survive the early game.
  • Reworked UI – Cleaner, more informative interface that makes managing your survival smoother.
  • Atmospheric biomes – Dense, dark forests, bright harsh deserts, and other moody environments that feel very different from vanilla.
  • Loot and exploration – Many more lootable items and boxes, encouraging constant scavenging instead of living off traders.
  • New workstations – Expanded crafting chains that support the new tiers, ores, and survival systems.
  • New zombie types – More variety and danger in every POI and horde night.
  • Xmas event – new decorations, loot

If vanilla feels too fast or too easy, AFTERLIFE turns the apocalypse into a long, dangerous journey where every small upgrade matters.

It looks like it’s for verison 1.4 not 2.4, so it’s still a whole build behind. Try reverting to 1.4 in order to get it to work.
