The Spear is one of mankind’s oldest weapons and as a polearm has one distinct advantage over other meeleweapons: Reach.
A Spearman is able to reach someone holding a sword or axe without being hit back.
However the default settings of 7days grant spears only a very slim rangebonus, which makes them feel more like pointy clubs.
To use a club you swing it and are able to hit multiple enemies at once, yet spears as thrusting weapons are only able to hit a single target.
Which leads to them being one of the worst weapons in the game.
By giving spears longer reach this mod makes them viable to use.
