Description

This modlet increases the number of zombies spawned.

Pine Biome = ~3x more zombies.
Burnt Forest Biome = ~60% more zombies.
Desert and Snow ~20% more zombies.
Wasteland = ~15% more zombies.

This modlet ONLY modifies the biome spawners and their maximum waves spawned calculations.
It does NOT modify per-entity part of the XMLs allowing for strong compatibility with other mods.

The number of zombies listed are for the open-world part of the spawning. I didnt modify Industrial, commercial or downtown sections of cities because I found them to be on par.
BUT, if you loot a place on the border of a city, heat may cause additional… Fun.
Furthermore, the max number of waves for ALL types (wilderness/city) was increased by 1 if they were below 4.

Summary:
What all of this means is that MORE zombies will spawn at ALL times regardless of where you explore without scaling their HP/Defence past what you set them to be in game or server XMLs.
There are more chances for bigger hordes and random singular zeds spawn more often with more chances for the dangerous zeds like Bikers and Hawaians.
MaxZombies spawned is always governed by ZombiesPerPlayer->MaxZombies; in that order.

In my 670m jaunt to the trader at 10am day 1 I found the following zeds in a playtest once I got out of the safe zone:
1 biker, 3 hawaian, 1 nurse, 1 of those hooded dudes 2 businessmen, 1 bob and 1 electrician

Hello all, sorry for the delay.
V2.4 of 7d2d changed the naming convention for the zombies.
I have put out an update 10/13/25 that fixes this problem and the modlets are working again.
I am still working on balance adjustments and confirming that turrets and crafting skills still work among others and how fast they do or dont level but the modlets function for all weapons, armor, vehicles and similar. Special code cases are still being tested and worked on (Like deployable turrets and seeds vs food) but, should be coming along soon.

Hey all; I saw your comments and have been hard at work fixing the mod to get it working.
I am proud to say as of 9-22-2025 the mods are fully operational and working.

Both Spawning modlet
and
I have a Learn By Doing modlet as well.

Both are compatible with eachother as well as independant. You can run both or just 1.
Sorry about that poor first upload.
Hopefully you can enjoy this one.

Mod is not working, you dont use append or set – this cant be applied
