Weather is Real

In version 1.0, The Fun Pimps removed all clothing and armor from the game and replaced them with Outfits. Each of these outfits were granted 80 (!) points of hot and cold resistance, which is a rather extreme change, and made the game’s weather and the thermal armor mods utterly pointless.

Using this mod will remove the default protections against hot and cold from ALL the outfits, allowing the evironment to once again become a threat to your survival, as it was in earlier versions.

Details:
1. With the exception of the Lumberjack set, whose Hat and Outfit pieces still grant 5 points of cold protection by default, all points of Hypothermal and Hyperthermal protections have been removed.
2. The health impact of Stage 3 starvation and dehydration (flashing red icon) is now MANY times faster. If you have somehow allowed yourself to get this compromised, you will die in a couple of minutes, rather than it taking a full day.

Main version:
*The effects of the Cold, Freezing, Hot, and Sweltering debuffs are now twice as severe as they used to be. Wearing protective liners will reduce the effects of heat and cold, but not prevent them. You will need to use torches, campfires, or shelter when severe weather occurs.

Lite version:
*The effects of Cold, Freezing, Hot, and Sweltering remain at their default values, and liners offer double their normal protection. Using these, you will only notice the most severe spikes in temperature, and their effects will be tolerable.

Using this mod will make you feel your environments, and challenge you to prepare for them in a more realistic way. I did this to help make PvE in 7DtD a more survival-like gameplay experience, because I really felt like my characters were wearing space suits, and the biomes really didn’t matter at all. Now they do.

Note: you still won’t die very easily to heat or cold with this mod – it still takes a while, and you will have time to prevent the most extreme effects. The main feature of Weather is Real is to ensure that consequences of climate CAN happen within a reasonable time, and if they do occur, they WILL become serious (and deadly).

Installation:
-Extract the zip into your /Mods folder
