Big City RWG is an XML-only mod for the random world generator. It can create single biome megacities or multi-biome maps with several large cities. All cities generally have larger downtowns now. To generate a megacity map, select “Few” from the cities option and choose one biome. If you’d prefer to have several cities with more biomes, choose “Default” or “Many”. Have fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. It works fine. Only have 2 problems with this mod.

    There are no mountains, the option is removed. I like having mountains on the map. Makes it a challenge to go from one place to another, not being able to just cross country it.

    The path smoothing is screwed up around POIs. The POIs will create straight up cliffs if the ground is uneven. Even if the road or path meets this cliff, it goeas straight up, making it unable to travel it.

    Modders make our beloved games even better. Keep up the great work!

  2. Very nice ๐Ÿ˜€ … made a Megacity on a 3k Map … so the Map is completely one City with only some spare free land at the border. Have an eye on your mining resources, as there are not much spots ๐Ÿ˜‰ You need to set the POIยดs to zero …

  3. Did exactly as instructed and my city is no where near as big as the one on the 10k preview. As a matter of fact all I have are usually 8 to 10 medium cities.

  4. How do you install this? Is it simply a case of replacing the RWG xml file, or copying all the files to a specific folder?

    Finally, someone broke and shared their number-fiddling with us. My fiddling never seems to produce maps like these.
