The aim of this mod is to make the recoil feel closer to that of most FPS games. While the vertical recoil is higher for weapons across the board, the recoil has been made more consistent, so it doesn’t feel as clunky. Either way, maybe all 9000000 of those muzzlebrake mods you had stowed away will come in handy for once.
I highly recommend using this mod along side mine: Crouch Aiming Revisited
Assault rifles had their downwards recoil removed in favor of higher, but consistent vertical recoil, with slightly less horizontal recoil as well, as that’s harder to control.
The T0 and T1 rifles were given higher recoil just for cosmetics, as recoil doesn’t affect their performance, really. The T2 and T3 rifles were given a bit more recoil to balance them out a bit more, and make them more rewarding, instead of the sniper being a stronger assault rifle.
9mm Pistols have had their vertical recoil nearly doubled, but their horizontal recoil halved. .44 guns have the same treatment, but to a lesser degree.
Shotguns were given more vertical recoil, and pull to the right slightly.
Should be compatible with older alphas, but I can’t personally confirm.
