It makes sense to me that you would get plant fibers while harvesting corn plants so I made it happen and would like to share. It works with both regular and super corn. This works well with my DA-Easy Resources mod which makes duct tape and repair kits much easier to craft.

I am not getting fibers from corn, do you need to use a certain tool to harvest for it to work?
I just tested and am getting plant fibers harvesting by hand and with every melee weapon. Even tools like the shovel and pickaxe gave plant fibers from both plants I grew and plants at farm poi. Are you running any other mods that alter farming or plants?
I think I figured out your problem. Make sure to put the “FibersFromCornHarvest” folder into your mods folder. It is inside the extracted zip folder and contains the “Config” folder and modinfo.xml. Sorry for confusion.
