This mod allows you to craft the small engine. But an camshaft is needed.
Small engines can still be harvest on Wrecks. Camshafts also will be found by harvesting Wrecks. They are unlocked when Mini-Bike is unlocked or with Schematics.

I believe Crank Assembly would be better than Camshaft to describe the new part.
