7 days to die randombloodmoon

Random Blood Moon Mod

Description:

This mod randomizes the frequency of the Blood Moon in 7 Days to Die. Instead of manually setting the Blood Moon frequency, this mod dynamically changes the interval, making the game more unpredictable and challenging. Each time you play, the Blood Moon may occur at a different interval, with a maximum of 7 days apart.

Features:

Randomized Blood Moon frequency: The interval between Blood Moons is randomly determined, making survival more intense.

How to Install:

  1. Download and unzip the mod.
  2. Place the mod folder into your Mods folder located in the game’s directory.
  3. Restart the game to apply the mod.

Notes:

Always back up your game before installing any mods, as modding may cause unexpected issues.

Changelog

  • Fixed an issue where BloodMoon were occurring daily instead of randomly as intended.
  • Adjusted BloodMoon occurrence to ensure randomness both when starting a new game session and during extended gameplay.

Is the blood moon sapposed to be every night? I’ve had 3 in a row, it’s been brutal.
Does the frequency change if your on for a long stint in one play through, or only when you reload your save?

This mod is simply unnecessary. You can modify the blood moon settings in the configuration file to be random.

Not everyone wants to edit game files. That’s what mods are for.

By your logic, we could label almost all of the mods as “simply unnecessary”.
