TechFreqs ReadyForSpawn Server Chime

7 days to die techfreqs readyforspawn server chime

========== TechFreqsReadyForSpawnServerChime for 7 Days to Die v1.2b27 and working for 1.3 b9==========

Description:
The TechFreqsReadyForSpawnServerChime mod adds an audio feature to 7 Days to Die, that plays a sound when certain menus are opened instead of it being in silence.
Specifically, it plays the default respawn sound when you try to join a server world:
Server Join Rules Dialog – When the server join rules screen appears when joining a server and it has the leave or continue buttons and the music will play when its loaded.
Same goes for the Spawn Selection Window – When the spawn selection menu is shown, for the Server and or in Singleplayer Saves thats when the Ready For Spawn menu popsup and plays the sound aswell so it isn’t just for singleplayer worlds, it’s for joining servers aswell as i thought that was missing a nice touch to the game..

Key Features:
Plays the default spawn-in sound (e.g., player_respawn) before joining a server from the Server Info Window and or just before spawning in a server without that info Window to let you know its loaded.
Uses the existing configuration from the game’s Sounds.xml file for sound management.
Can be easily enabled or disabled through simple mod configuration, installing or uninstalled the mod from the mods folder..
This mod enhances the experience by adding audio feedback when entering those key menus, without altering any other gameplay aspects.

Installation:
Download the mod files, Extract Mod files.
Place them in your Mods directory of your 7 Days to Die Game ,
==And as it goes for this variation of their mod,
EAC must be disabled, although i hope in the future it can be compatibles since its just using a default sound from the sounds xml in the games data folder anyways. BUT
the code that i have just triggers the sound on those Two windows. so not too sure when that could happen. But same goes for the harmony mod being present in the Mods directory
THIS IS CLIENT SIDE ONLY.
So if you’d like a chime to be played when a world finishes loading be my guest this MOD is for you!.
Not its not configurable or customizeable, as it’s just set to the default respawn sound.
Enjoy!

World Ready Chime
and just like with their mod EAC must be disabled, and the game’s harmony mod must be present.
All i’ve done was reference, study and use the code for server menus whilst using singleplayer menu world spawns aswell into server worlds that dont have the server info dialog.

Made with love for the game and version v1.3 and v1.2(b27) not sure if compatibility will work with older versions of the game.

Don’t forget to support me by listening to a song or two or several! I’d very much appreciate it and any feedback for the mod aswell
and thanks to ChatGPT or Microsoft CoPilot A.I for helping me create the mod aswell with very little modding knowledge for the game and learning as i go.
