Description
That Mod adds a custom Mastery-by-usage-System to the Game.
Its full serverside and should work with all modded weapons and tools, as long as they have used the TFP Vanilla Tags.
(The System works at least with my other Mod Weapons and Tools and with the IZY AIO Weapon Pack and with the Project Z 2.0 Modpack Weapons. Dont have tested other Weapons, but they should work – just make sure that this Mod is loaded after every Mod which loads weapons or tools into the game – i have tagged the Modfolder with a ZZ that its very bottom in the list.)
There are alot of diff. Masterys, like Rifle, Bladed Weapons, Robotic Weapons etc.
Above your Toolbelt you will see the Weapon Mastery and the Level if you equip a Weapon.
In your Character Screen you have a Buff, where you see what it do and for selfcontroll that the buff is loaded.
(If you play with a UI Mod and the Bar isnt on a “good” position, go into the Modfolder -> Windows.xml – at the beginning of the XML File are green marked textes, which explains what you need to edit, to move the Bar somewhere else.)
Each Rank up increase your Block Damage, Magazine Size, Weapon Damage and Attackspeed for the Mastery-Type-Weapon/Tool by +0,5%
Each Rank up increase the needed EXP by 6%
EXP are given out by the following:
Hitting an Enemy with the Weapon grants 1 EXP
Killing an Enemy with the Weapon grants 4 EXP
Break a Block with the Tool grants 2 EXP

That mod was created in inspiration from a japanese modder (dont know the name, sorry im not jap.) and created with AI through Google’s Gemini.

I like the mod, thank you. But could you add a tab beside the item description with the updated stats? Like base dmg of a stone axe 7.8 + Mastery buff (1.2) = total 9
That is not how entity damage work. The Damage will be added additiv. Means 7.8 then +Values from Mods then +Values from Perks then +Values from Mastery. So its not really that good countable.
Great mod! I used to have action skills and learn by use mods before but I actually like this one which is made by using buffs instead of progression and unlike legacy action skills, the learn by use mod and this one always counts all modded weapons and tools automatically without needing to manually register them to mod which is good.
yes, thats why the mod needs to be loaded after every mod which adds weapons/tools. The needed tags will automaticlly apply to them, if the weapons use the vanilla perk bonus, like gunslinger for 9mm
Thanks for the mod but i have 1 problem sometimes it is stuck with fist weapon even i have an axe or shovel equipped !
Make sure you dont have any weapon mods loaded after that mod
Hello Solvita, good day. Nothing to do with this mod, I wanted to ask a question. In the middle of his mods, there’s one called EVENT. It adds new quests (from stalkers), which I downloaded and put on my server. The problem is that when we activate either one (1, 2, 3 or 4) and then craft the block it asks for and put it on the ground, the red targets appear around it, but also an endless rain of red lines. It’s server side, but I also put it in my game to see if that was it, but the problem persists. Then I searched here on the site, for this mod, suddenly a description I don’t know… Can you tell if it’s working normally or buggy? Why doesn’t it have a page about it? I searched for all your mods and didn’t find it on this 7daystodiemods site

hai solvita, i use most of your mods and have been a fan of since 1.0 stable, how would i go about changning the 0.5 % on level up if possible?

Open the Modfolder -> Config -> buffs.xml -> Line 371 and Line 373 are the values for the Bonus.
0.005 = 0,5% – If you want, for example 3% you need to enter 0.03 there.
