Found out only after going through the mod files that it’s for the “EFT Extraction Pack” specifically and not for the EFT Overhaul, would be great if the description mentions that 🙂
But after a few minor edits to an xml file it seems to be working fine with the Overhaul as well, sooo.. Good mod, I like it.
Any chance you would share the file or the changes you made? I was really hoping to use this with the EFT Overhaul mod.
In the recipes.xml (under Config) I changed the condition for the EFT recipes to load to ‘EFT8_DVS_Configs’ (on Line 294 if you’re using an Editor that shows them). Since both the Extraction Pack and the Overhaul use the same code for the Ammo it works fine. I only did a little testing though, got distracted by other games ^^”
I also commented-out the vanilla recipes at the bottom of the file so they won’t load. The mod still “works” if those are loaded, but clicking on them in game caused a flood of red errors for me.
Thank you, I will give that a go!
Hello, I use Izy’s weapon packs and they add additional ammo types to the game, will this recognise those and include them in its function?
No it wont. I have not made a seperate patch for that. With the amount of work needed to do it, and how many ammo types they have im not sure if it will be something done quickly or not. I have alot of irons in the fire at the moment 🙂
A compatibility update has been done for this.
