TheMeanOne Performance+ is a deep optimization mod for 7 Days to Die that dramatically increases FPS and improves game smoothness — especially on lower-end PCs and large servers. ServerSide Friendly. Requires new Save. Spend less time lagging and enjoy the game. You deserve it.
Requires New Save
This mod surgically removes excessive map clutter, ambient junk, and wasteful decoration spawns that bog down performance. Roads, sidewalks, and city environments are cleaned up. Forests, biomes, and POIs are stripped of visual clutter, tall grass, ember piles, rubble, cinder blocks, gore piles, and more — all while preserving gameplay functionality.
Key Features
Removes unnecessary world decorations:
Cinder blocks, ember piles, ruined bricks, candy tin mines, hubcap mines, gore piles, random loot helpers, sidewalk debris, tires, and more. These arent needed for functionality of the game, and resources like these can be easily obtained from buildings, eliminating enemies and searching buildings.
Heavily reduces tree and tall grass spawns:
Especially large trees and forest overgrowth that tank performance. There is no need for the excessive bloat of trees. This removes tree types in all biomes, thinning them out just enough to get that edge off.
Strips particle effects from workstations:
Forge and Chemistry Station visual effects removed for smoother base performance. No need for these particle effects that run heavy on your game and Server when accessing the workstations. I left the Campfire alone.
Cleans up road overlays:
Disables decals and rubble found in asphalt, country roads, and gravel paths. No need for dirty roadways with clutter.
Fully ServerSide Compatible:
No client download needed. Drop it into your dedicated server’s Mods folder. Its literally that easy.
Notes
Requires a new save to take effect!
Since this mod alters worldgen Biome files, existing saves won’t see changes without regeneration. A new save is required and there is No way around that.
Purely cosmetic/technical:
No gameplay features or loot/stats are altered. Only visual and environmental cleanup.
Ideal For:
Players struggling with FPS drops in cities or forests
Servers looking to support more players per region

This works on custum maps mods or only random genenared maps?
Any map it should work on that generates a biomes xml with vanilla assets
