How to Install
Unzip Zombie Hunter UI and move all 4 mod folders into your Mods folder.
!!You must have all 4 mods together!!
Introduction
Explore the next level of gameplay with the Zombie Hunter UI & HUD addon, a comprehensive enhancement to the main Zombie Hunter mod.
This addon completely transforms the user interface and heads-up display, featuring a sleek, intuitive design with updated icons, menus, and indicators for seamless navigation.
Immerse yourself in the post-apocalyptic world with dynamic visuals and thematic elements that intensify the experience of surviving against relentless hordes of the undead.
Main Menu
Redesigned Main Menu and all associated windows (new game, continue game, options, etc.).
In-Game HUD
Completely new in-game HUD. This mod enhances visibility with the following features:
- General Stats: Displays health, stamina, food, water, and stealth on the bottom left side.
- Level and XP Bar: Shows level, XP bar, and some statistics on the top left side.
- Compass Design: Redesigned compass and added visibility for enemy health.
- Toolbelt Inventory: Redesigned and expanded toolbelt inventory to hold up to 15 slots.
- Backpack Icon: Added a backpack icon on the bottom right to display ammo, along with vehicle stats such as fuel and vehicle health.
- Location Window: Redesigned Location Window & Difficulty level.
Inventory & In-Game Windows
Character Window in Crafting & Backpack: A character window has been integrated into the crafting and backpack windows, allowing you to easily access your character and view stat changes directly from the backpack.
Expanded Scrollable Backpack & Storages: The backpack has been upgraded to 200 slots with a scrollable interface. Additional slots can be unlocked by purchasing the necessary skills, similar to the vanilla game.
Increased & Scrollable Storages & Vehicle Storages
Redesigned Looting Timer and Block Hitpoints: The looting timer and block hitpoints have been revamped to look significantly more elegant compared to the vanilla version, offering a smoother and more polished experience during gameplay.
Custom Visible Enemy Health: You are now able to see enemy & animal health
Custom Icons
80% of the vanilla icons have been replaced with new ones (more will be replaced in the future updates).
Additionally, the icons for achievements, skills, and all categories have been changed.
These icons will be further adjusted over time to fit as closely as possible with the vanilla style.
More room for skill perks: You can now add even more skill perk mod. You can add up to 15 more skill perks into the skill category.
Important!
This mod will still get many updates in the future.
Mod includes multiple mods necessary for proper functionality. I also do not recommend adding other UI mods, as they will almost certainly cause compatibility issues with this mod.

A big thanks to 0xSteel, whose mod add-ons are included in the Zombie Hunter UI with his permission. Zombie Hunter UI also contains the “SteelUI – Black UI Theme And Custom HUD”, which adds some of its functions into the Zombie Hunter UI & HUD.

Здрастуйте, очень понравился Ваш мод. Но, есть очень не удобные вещи:
В меню крафта не виден таймер, потому что он находится под иконкой а не по верх неё,
Меню достижений очень не пракчичное. Не понятно какие уже выполнены, а какие нет. Сделайте пожалуйста хотя-бы тон у выполненных заданий, чтоб он отличался от общей цветовой палитры, например все иконки красные, а выполненые – зеленые,
Иконка жизни очень пытается в общем баре, лучше было бы видеть её над панелью инструментов в виде полосы
И как мелочь, ваша ветка развития не переведена на украинский или хотя-бы русский, ето не проблема, но на фоне адаптированого контента игры, она сильно лезет в глаза.
А в общем это один из лучших модов, продолжайте в том же духе, и радуйтесь нас и дальше основами и улучшениями.

Yeah… this is happening to me as well…. also getting ERR XML loader: loading and parsing ‘spawning.xml’ failed….. huge bummer……
Did you move all four mod folders inside your Mods folder?
Also do you have Harmony inside your Mods?
I do, yes. I was running your old version, and that worked fine. I replaced it with the updated Mod, and things broke. I got those error messages posted above, and could never get into the game. It got stuck on “loading UI” and stayed there. I reverted to the old files, and those didn’t work either… the crafting window ended up unresponsive. The main window in your inventory. Craft, repair, Mod, wear. That sort of thing. Tried a new game too, same result the the new version. I had to remove the Zombie hunter mod al together in the end…. Just the UI one, thankfully. We love your main mod. I wonder what could have changed in the updated version… We are running quite a few mods, nothing else that has to do with UI, and like I mentioned, the old version worked fine…. the new sexy one!! did not. Sad face.
How exactly did you replace it? Did you just move new files into the Mods folder and clicked on “replace all” or you removed the old Zombie Hunter UI & HUD and then placed a new version?
I did an overwrite at first. The “replace all”. Ran the game, forgot to remove the the old backpack file that wasn’t included anymore, it came up with those errors. Removed the backpack mod, the file. Same errors. Reinstalled the old version, that got me back into the game, however the main window, craft, modify, use, those controls didn’t work anymore. Could still use the Keyboard functions. But mouse click did not work. Could I have installed it wrong? Or incorrectly? Confuses me, I had it running just fine.
I also tried a new too, wouldn’t get to “in game” either.
Please remove mods from your Mods folder:
– Zombie Hunter UI
– ZZZxSteel-450SlotBackpack
– ZZZxSteel-UI
– ZZZxSteel-UI-10SlotCraftQueue
– ZZZxSteel-UI-15SlotToolbelt
After that, place the new ones from the new version of Zombie Hunter UI & HUD.

Can’t get past the loading screen. When I try to start the world it does nothing.
Cant help you with that if you dont provide me more info, for example console error logs.
However most problems are caused because of other mods (mostly UI mods) so if ur using them, please deactivate them.
Okay…. I was using the “Mod Manager” Mod. I removed it, game boots up fine now… I guess they don’t like each other….
I do have a question though…. can I modify the Inventory size… like set to a certain number of spaces?
Hello, you cant actually. However full release will be soon, which will add scrollable backpack, that adds up to 200 slots.
Ah okay. Had to ask. We usually only play with about 60.. The different pages of INV is a cool feature I’ve never seen before…. Both Zombie Mods are looking like its gonna be a blast!
So, main menu does not load… I am getting a red message.

i dont know why but when i start the game, on the main menu it is written in the console :

You can ignore that as it is just yellow error, which is not important.
The only important errors are the red ones.
Is there an easy way for me to add back the “windowLocation”?

I dont think you can add it on your own, but you can for sure try it.
