Like many, I was disappointed to discover only a handful of the new doors were craft able. I also noted a few other things about the doors that I was unhappy with. So, I made a list of everything I wanted to change. Then set out to create this mod. This is a straightforward xml only mod. Works Server Side! Download the file. Drop it into your (Mods) folder, and your good to go.
What This Mod Does
- Makes all doors craft able.
- All doors place at full health without barricading (junk) on them.
- Doors damage to shoot through as intended, repair back to full health without barricading.
- Fixes faded color scheme and sets them to match existing paint brush textures. (close as possible)
- Adds new variant blocks for each door type. (Craft door type you want, then select color and place.)
- Adds new powered door variants, some with color selection.
- Adds improved chain link fence, barbed wire, and razor wire blocks to the Metal Fence and Railings block in the forge.
- Adds Table Saw back as workstation, unlock able through Forge-Ahead progression line. (Doors are crafted across 3 workstations, wood variants on table saw, bar/chain doors on forge, rest on workbench.)
This mod was NOT made with overhauls in mind. No idea if it works with any, try at your own risk.
This mod is NOT guaranteed to work with other mods.
This mod will almost certainly clash with any mods that alter vanilla doors, door recipes, the table saw, or the Workstations/Forge-Ahead progression line.

Awesome mod works just as described. All the doors come with hinges and knobs, unlike those from the big orange box store. 😉

needs updating, didnt load anything. was only showing all the doors with stuff all over them.

IF you are taking about the door icons, they havent changed. When you place them however they will not have junk on them. Also if you are not crafting them and just using the creative menu. The old doors are in there as well. You will have to find the ones labeled LtD.
Awesome! But I don’t like that the vanilla craftable doors lose 250 HP. Am I missing something there?
These doors don’t lose HP. They place full health with no barricades. =)
I see what you mean, the regular wood door you make in your backpack. There was a typo on that door. I fixed it. If you redownload and replace the old folder in your mods it should be fine now. =)
