Working Sinks and Water Coolers

7 days to die working sinks and water coolers, 7 days to die building materials

Adds cooler and sink repair kits to fix up house sinks and water coolers. More sinks will be added in the future (office utility etc) but for now its just cabinet type sinks. All devices can be repaired, destroyed to pick or taken. They can also be sold to traders.


  • (new) Added a few more sinks to working (utility etc) and to trader.
  • Updated the “Working” Mods so that stone axes work with the kits now as well as nailguns and hammers.
  • Updated for A20.

  1. In the current A20 version, a copy/paste error has apparently crept in.
    In the file “items.xml” in line 30+31 at “Focused_blockname_” the “3” must be changed to 4 and 5 respectively (so that all 5 entries are ascending from 1-5).

  2. I have no idea how to activate the sink or water cooler.
    Do I need a water source, or a specific item to actually make them work?
    Some help would be very much appreciated.

    1. Hi, there is an error in the items.xml.
      Change in line 30+31 at “Focused_blockname_” the digit “3” to 4 and 5 respectively, so that all 5 entries are ascending from the number.

    You need to modify the Files items.xml and recipes.xml
    – items.xml
    Replace “meleeToolClawHammer” with “meleeToolRepairT1ClawHammer” in the 3rd line

    – recipes.xml
    Completely remove the 9th row, because the item “Car Air Filter”, which is needed to craft the repair kit, is no longer included in the game.
    (This line: ingredient name=”resourceAirFilter” count=”3″/ )
